2019 Shooting Shirts for High School Girls
For the 2018-2019 season, ALTBA donated towards the purchase of new Shooting Shirts for the
Avon Lake Girls Basketball program.

2018 New Freshman Boys and Girls Basketball Uniforms
In 2018, ALTBA donated towards the purchase of brand new basketball uniforms for both the
Freshman Boys and Freshman Girls basketball teams.

2017 New Basketball Shooting Machine
In 2017, ALTBA donated towards the purchase of a new Basketball Shooting Gun for the
Avon Lake Varsity Teams practice use at Avon Lake High School.

 

2016 Donation to Learwood Athletics SWC Banners

 In Spring of 2016, ALTBA donated along with the Learwood PTA $1,000 towards the purchase of SWC Banners
and Avon Lake Banner to be hung in Learwood Gym.

2015 Donation to Avon Lake HS Weight Room Remodel
During the summer of 2015, ALTBA donated $1,000 towards the purchase and remodel of
Avon Lake High School's weight room.

2014 New Scoreboards at Learwood Middle School

During the summer of 2014, two new scoreboards were purchased and installed at Learwood Middle School. ALTBA is thankful for the use of Learwood gyms for practices and hosting league games. In addition to hosting league games, the scoreboards are used by the 7th & 8th grade basketball and volleyball teams. The scoreboards will also be used during the summer for the Avon Lake Parks & Recreation 3v3 summer league. ALTBA also purchased for Learwood a floor/bench runner to protect the playing surface in the winter months.

2013 Floor Resurfacing at Learwood Middle School

ALTBA funded the resurfacing of Learwood Middle School in Avon Lake. The gym hosts many basketball programs from across the region including LEBL league games, Southwest Conference Boys and Girls (both 7th and 8th grade conference and non-conference teams), CYO and rec programs.

2012- New Uniforms for Middle School Programs

ALTBA purchased new uniforms for the 7th & 8th grade Boys and Girls programs (8 teams total) at Learwood Middle School.

2009-2011 Backboard Replacement

Funded by the Avon Lake Travel Basketball Assocation, 6 new rims, 6 backboard pads and 4 glass backboards were purchased and installed at Troy Intermediate School and other elementary schools in Avon Lake. The ALTBA contributed a large portion towards the upgrade through funds raised during the travel season. The Avon Lake Recreation Department also contributed funds towards the upgrades. Working together to promote and improve the game of basketball in Avon Lake, the ALTBA, Recreation Department and the Avon Lake City Schools Administration helped make this happen.
